SOFAER & CO
In the late 19 centuries, Rangoon was hail as the London of the Far East. The once glorious “city of gold” is now known as Yangon. Myanmar has recently opened its door to the global community after a long period of isolation.
Sofaer & Co is one of the first luxury restaurant, cafe and bar in Yangon. The venue is located within its namesake, the Sofaer & Co building. The building itself was referred as Burmese Selfridge in the past.
The overall design theme has a look and feel of a vintage novel, with many subtle references from George Osbourne’s famous novel Burmese Day.
